I like to knit with woolen, cotton and silk incl. polyester, but I don't like to knit only with polyester yarn.
2. What do you use to store your needles/hooks in?
In a small bag or plastic-box
3. How long have you been knitting & how did you learn? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced?
I have learned to knit at school, a long time ago. Since last year I knit socks and scarls and so I am a beginner.

Yes and no....

I love sweets...chocolate etc.

Yes, I am sewing and embroidering with the sewing-machine

I like to hear Genesis, Phil Collins, Pop Music, Herbert Grönemeyer, Rosenstolz etc. What's your favorite scent? Yes, my computer can play MP3
9. What's your favorite color(s)? Any colors you just can't stand?
I like, yellow, orange, red, blue, but I don't like only black. Black with other colors is ok.
10. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets?
No, we have no pets. My family is: 1 daughter 13 years old and my lovely friend - we live together in a house.
11. Do you wear scarves, hats, mittens or ponchos?
I wear scarves, hats, mittens and ponchos
12. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit?
Now socks, socks and socks but I would like to knit a jacket.

Yes, I love handmade gifts.

I like circular bamboo needles and for the socks straight bamboo needles.

No I haven't a yarn winder and swift.

Oh, I think 2 years - it a poncho for my lovely daughter

I haven't any knitting magazines, but only socks books. My newone is "Patchwork-Socks"

I don't know.

Yes I am a socks knitter. I wear 39 (German size)

Vorigen Monat und Anfang April gaben sich der Götterbote als auch die Post die Klinke in die Hand. Meine Michliebenden waren sehr sehr neidisch, nur Päckchen für mich. Ja und da war so ein grauer Plastikumschlag, aus Irland, der Absender kam mir überhaupt nicht bekannt vor. Irland, habe ich dort irgendwelche Kontakte? Mein Freund meinte nur "Du hast bestimmt irgendwas bestellt" Nein, hmm nein, überhaupt nicht. OK, ich öffnete den dicken Umschlag und da kamen diese wunderschönen Sachen zum Sticken - heraus:
Ja, es war von meinem Secret Pal 10, mit all diesen schönen Stickzubehör u. a. Bobbins in weiß und schwarz, wunderschöne Stickkonen, Stickvlies, Avalon dick (war mir auch zu diesem Zeitpunkt ausgegangen) und dünn, Bügelfolie und leckere Schoki und und (wobei ich die Schoki für mich behalten habe, den anderen Teil habe ich unter meinen Michliebenden aufgeteilt, sonst hätten die beiden arg traurig geguckt). Ich war bisher davon ausgegangen das mein Secret Pal 10 aus Deutschland kommt, weil sie erstens mir in deutsch geschrieben und die E-Mail-Adresse eine deutsche Kennung hat. Jaja, so kann man falsch denken. Liebe(r) Secret Pal, ich möchte mich nochmal auf diesem Wege ganz, ganz lieb und herzlich bei Dir bedanken für das erste Päckchen, vorallem weil ich diese Dinge sehr gut gebrauchen und nutzen kann und weil ach seufz. . Hoffentlich bekomme ich die englische Übersetzung noch gut hin....mein Wörterbuch wird mir schon weiterhelfen, oder?

In March and at the beginning of April I have received a lot of parcels, for example from my Secret Pal 10, I really don't knowed that she comes from Ireland, because she has mailed me in german. Oh she has sended wonderful things for example: sweets, chocolate (thats mine), embroidery yarn (wonderful colours), bobbins in white and black, vlies for the embroidery-machine (avalon). Thank you very much my secret pal 10.
